LA-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alexa Melo released her “powerful and stylistically diverse” (-BuzzBands.LA) self-titled debut out earlier this summer (June 2). And her latest video for the single “Bleach” premiered on BuzzBands.LA earlier this week. The song was written while she was tied up in an unpleasant major record label deal and it’s, “about fighting the outside pressure to eliminate flaws within yourself that make you who you are.”
She was recently featured on KTLA-TV as part of their Mercedes Benz-sponsored ‘Street Beats’ feature.
