Robert DeLong will release his brilliant new single ‘Long Way Down’ in the UK on August 28. The song, which has been a #1 on Hype Machine, is the first to be taken from his second studio album ‘In The Cards’, which will be released through Glassnote Recordings on September 18. The track has already achieved over 11 million streams on Spotify since it’s US release earlier in the year, where it peaked at #3 in the alternative radio charts, and stayed in the top 5 for 10 weeks.
Robert’s album ‘In The Cards’ is the follow up to his debut ‘Just Movement’, which was released in 2013. The album received critical acclaim around the world, and DeLong became a mainstay in the festival and touring circuit with his astonishing one-man dance party performances – which famously see Robert performing with Wii remotes and other game controllers, alongside live drums, keyboards and live samplers.
Robert’s festival appearances have included Lollapalooza, Coachella, SXSW, Ultra Music Festival, Reading and Leeds, Pukkelpop, and Rock en Heim to name a few.
Later this year, Robert will tour the US with Charlie XCX and Bleachers, and his own headline tour starting on October 28. Further European dates will also be announced for October.
