They signed to the same label as Coldplay, spent a whole winter opening for The Smashing Pumpkins and broke America. Not bad for a band from Essex founded by labourers with their debut album.
Fast-forward two years and Morning Parade have returned home and are celebrating the impending release of their hugely-anticipated sophomore record, Pure Adulterated Joy on September 8th with a special warm-up show in the Capital before a European tour in October. Now signed to SO Recordings after leaving Parlophone during the merger with Warner, the five-piece are revitalized and excited to be starting a clean slate with new music away from the heavy pressures that came with being a new major label act surrounded by a lot of hype.
