Numb evokes the longing to escape, a longing that took him from Iowa to London, a city thats become a second home to this accomplished young musician.
One of the finest singer songwriters to have emerged from the U.S. in recent years, Max Jury reveals the video for his new single Numb-the first to be taken from his stunning self-titled debut album which is out on Marathon Artists June 3rd.
The accompanying video brings to mind Jean Luc Godard work with the Rolling Stones on Sympathy For The Devil with its director Daniel Brereton saying The song to me has real depth and warmth, and so we wanted to create an honest feeling to the video. We achieved this by shooting on 16mm film, and paying attention to details like colour and composition.
