LA’s Gothic Tropic is the brainchild of Cecilia Della Peruti, a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose resume includes appearing with Joseph Gordon-Levitt on HitRECord TV, collaborating with Ryan Adams, and touring & performing on Late Night with Seth Meyers with Night Terrors of 1929. The band introduces some hard edges to the playful world of psych-pop, and its success hinges on each member’s ability to seamlessly collaborate, but also flourish individually.
Gothic Tropic released their single ‘Underwater Games’ on Old Flame Records last year, and today, they share a mesmerizing new video for the track directed by Anthony Ferrara.
Gothic Tropic kicks off a week-long West coast tour with Lucy next Friday, wrapping things up with a special homecoming show in LA on February 28th (see below for dates.) They’re also gearing up to release a brand new LP, FASTorFEAST, out this spring on Old Flame Records.
