Brooklyn’s Behaviors release beautiful electro-melancholic new track, “Signing A Deal” via Apple Music’s Release show on Beats 1. This is the second single off their debut self-titled full length out late 2015 and follows their acclaimed first track, “Don’t Fight It”, which received praise from outlets such as Vanyaland, Impose, The Wild Honey Pie and more.
Hailing from Sydney and New York respectively, former members of Cassette Kids, Daniel Schober, Daniel Deitz and Jacob Read-Harber banded with producer/songwriter and vocalist Frans Mernick (A$AP Rocky, Mark Ronson, Lykke Li) in 2013 to begin the work that would culminate in their debut self-titled LP.
From the melancholic “Signing A Deal,” the unrelenting rhythm and psychedelic guitar work in “Demystify My Love,” through to the towering vocals in the anthemic “Lonely Girl,” the album lilts beautifully at the back half of the record, and the quiet luster of the lo-fi “Weight of the World” allows a moment of dreamy reflection.
